I used to be fiercely independent, knew all the answers, and believed I could do anything I set my mind to. Relationships, politics, you name it and I had all the answers. Did anyone else think of themselves with such confidence at 16? I really thought at 16 that I could run my life, a household, heck even run the country.
The more I grow up, the more I realize how much I have to learn. My desire for this blog is that it would be a place to chronicle the adventures I have in this new phase of life. Who knew roasting a chicken would be so hard? Which side is the breast side? How do I know when it is done? How do we carve it once it finally is done? Why was I not taught this in college?
Hopefully you enjoy many questions, laughing at disasters, and helping to celebrate a job well done.
